The Yobuko Morning Market has a history of 100 years in Yobuko Town, famous for squid fishing. The 200-meter-long morning market street is lined with nearly 50 stalls. The market is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every day.

3. Karatsu Castle (Karatsu-jō)

Karatsu Castle was built by Hideyoshi Toyotomi's vassal, Shima-no-Kami Hirotaka Terazawa, over a period of seven years from 1602.
It is also known as "Maizuru Castle" because the pine groves stretching towards the east and west look like cranes with their wings spread.
The castle tower was built in 1966 and is now a local museum. The observation deck on the 5th floor is the perfect viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the ocean and the city.
