With a history of about 1,800 years, “Ikuta Shrine” is affectionately called “Ikuta-san, the matchmaker” by locals. As a popular power spot, it’s known for bringing good luck in marriage, love, work and health, and has even seen visits from athletes and artists in recent years.
You can find it just a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya and Motomachi Station, the heart of Kobe’s sightseeing, which makes it a popular stop for both locals and tourists alike.

The original kanji for "Ikuta" meant “active field”, a name that points to the community’s liveliness and energy. It is also worshiped as a “god of revival” because it has continued to recover from the devastating damage caused by disasters and wars throughout its long history.
Ikuta Shrine has truly earned the name of “power spot”.
One of the other popular attractions is a fortune-telling service called "Mizu-mikuji” in the "Ikuta Forest" behind the main shrine, which has a reputation for being very accurate.

    離市區不會太遠,交通還算方便,腹地雖然沒有很大但環境很安靜,遊客也沒有太多
