Minoo Falls
The Minoo Falls have been selected as one of the "100 best waterfalls in Japan" and is also famous as a spot to enjoy the autumn colors of the leaves.
The name "Minoo Ohtaki" (Minoo Falls) comes from the resemblance of the cascading waterfall to the farming tool "Mi". The waterfall has been selected as “One of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan”, and the beautiful scenery can be enjoyed throughout the year. In 1986, Minoo Park, where Minoo Falls is located, was selected as “One of the 100 best Forests for Forest Relaxation Therapy”.
It is also a popular spot to enjoy the autumn leaves colors. The park is also easily accessible in about 30 minutes from Osaka City by train.
Minoo Park also has facilities such as the Minoo Park Insectarium that children will enjoy, and there are many events throughout the year such as walking tours and lighting up of the waterfalls, which can be enjoyed by the whole family, regardless of age.
