Mishima Skywalk
The longest suspension bridge in Japan with a total length of 400 meters, from where you can see Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and the mountains of Izu.
Opened in 2015, the 400m long suspension bridge is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Japan. It spans the Hakone Seiroku at an altitude of about 415 meters, with a drop of 70 meters. From the bridge, you can see Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, and Suruga Bay, the deepest bay in Japan, so together with the longest suspension bridge in Japan, you can see the 3 tops of Japan from one place. If the weather is good, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains of the Izu Peninsula and the urban areas of Mishima and Numazu.
The park is divided into two areas with the suspension bridge in between, and there are many resting spots such as cafes, restaurants, and stores. The Sky Garden, decorated with flower chandeliers, is lined with local specialties and a wide variety of products related to Mt. Fuji. At the "Mori no Kitchen" restaurant, you can enjoy curry made with local ingredients and pancakes, as well as Mishima's affordable gourmet "Mishima Croquette" made from an original recipe.
There is also a great lineup of activities that even adults can enjoy. “The Forest Adventure” is an outdoor park built in harmony with nature in the forest. The impressive “Long Zip Slide” is where you can slide down a 560-meter round trip in one go. There is also a "Segway Guided Tour" where you can take a stroll through the forest with a guide on a Segway, and a "Go-Go Buggy" that takes you on a wild ride through the natural terrain.
