The world of “Heidi, Girl of the Alps”, come to life! A nature escape with views, food and hot springs to heal your soul.

Last update :

Set in the Swiss Alps, the 1974 anime “Heidi, Girl of the Alps” follows the life of a little girl named Heidi. With story favorites like the iconic straw bed and natural landscapes, or the ooey gooey melted cheese, there are so many scenes from Heidi’s world to cherish.

Dive into Heidi’s world at this center while soaking in the wide open nature and gorgeous flowers that bloom across all four seasons. Within the garden center you’ll find a gigantic 4-meter diorama that overlooks the set from Delphi Village to Frankfurt, as well as recreations of the straw-filled mattress bed, Alm-Onji’s cottage and more. There’s even a restaurant where you can try cheese fondue made with real Swiss cheese, or a chance to pick fruit like cherries and strawberries depending on the season.

2014 brought the grand opening of the hot springs resort named “Clara Hotel Spa & Restaurant”. Modeled after the Sesemann house and estate, the hotel features 11 different rooms including western rooms with antique furniture and Japanese-style rooms with oversized “Yuki” and “Joseph” plushies for an extra-snuggly stay. For kids, there are even Heidi, Peter and Clara costumes for kids to rent out and enjoy dressing up during their stay.
