Homemade Soba & Grill Mahoroba

A previous photo studio renovated into a graceful homemade Soba restaurant.

Last update :

The Soba restaurant stands in the corner of a townscape preservation district in Uda Matsuyama. The classic building used to be a photo studio, which you can tell from the beautiful retro interior. It has remnants of the photo studio throughout the restaurant, making it a great photo spot.

The thin soba noodles have been everyone’s favorite since the beginning. No additives are in these buckwheat noodles with a smooth texture. The popular side menu includes pork cubes. The domestic pork is simmered patiently and goes well with soba. Quite a few regular customers come for this pork.

The restaurant offers soba-making classes: For those who just want to see the sensitive and dynamic process, the mini experience course. For those who want to start making them by themselves, the practical course. Choose for your interest level.
