Kaneko Seeds Gunma Flower Park
Large flower park where you can enjoy a variety of flowers all year round.
Note: The park is currently closed. It is scheduled to reopen in Fall 2025 after renovations!
A 18.4-hectare flower park located at the southern foot of Mount Akagi. The park features a variety of flowers throughout the year and is divided into areas based on different themes.
A 18-meter high Park Tower stands at the center of the park, offering views from the observatory of Mount Akagi and, on a clear day, even Tokyo Skytree. Under the tower is the 6,000 square meter "Flatopia Flowerbed", which is filled with seasonal flowers such as tulips in the spring. The Rose Garden in the Main Area is especially beautiful during the two seasons of mid-May to early June and in October, when the colorful pink, red, and yellow roses are at their best and their sweet fragrance wafts through the air.
The east side "Garden Area" has a Japanese garden where you can enjoy a different backdrop for each of the four seasons. The local, regional specialties served at the garden restaurant come especially recommended.
In the winter, the entire park is illuminated, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
There are many ways to enjoy each season, so we recommend you visit as many times as you like at different times of the year.
