A prefectural nature park located about 10 minutes by car from downtown Nago. Located on Mt.Nago, visitors can view the city of Nago and the beautiful East China Sea, from the observatory near the top. The area has 12 zones where visitors can enjoy the rich nature in the gently rolling forest, and is equipped with a large observation tower, rest area, restrooms, etc., and is used as a starting point for Mt. Nago and walking trails.

There are many places that both adults and children can enjoy, such as the "Flower and Tree Viewing Area" where visitors can stroll through a gently sloping forest, the "Historical and Natural Area" where the rich nature of Nago Mountain remains and precious wild birds and plants can be observed, the "Hiking Area" where visitors can play ground golf and hike on the grass, and the "Recreation Square" where children can play on the playground and waterways.

The Visitor Center "subaco" sells local souvenirs and original drinks. Also equipped with a parking lot, it is the perfect place to take a break while enjoying Nago's natural beauty. The Nago Castle Ruins in the park is also known as one of the best places in the prefecture for cherry blossom festivals.
