Sightseeing Express "Blue Symphony"

Set out on a luxe journey, swaying through the landscape on this refined, classic train.

Last update :

The Blue Symphony runs along a corridor of different destinations between Osaka-Abenobashi and Yoshino Stations, long beloved for their rich history, culture nature and food. The train exterior features a gorgeous deep blue wrap that both blends in well with the surrounding landscape, but also gives off a refined, classic look and feel that the sensible traveler is bound to love.

The train is comprised of 3 connected carriages, the first and last of which are passenger seating areas with a wide open, luxe layout of 2-seat rows and 1-seat rows. The middle car is home to a lounge space that calls out all the stops, including sofas, select lighting, and select window size, and a bar counter at the back with a number of different items to try.

On the menu you’ll find drinks from wineries, sake breweries and famous shops along the tracks. For food there are Yoshino specialties like dried persimmons, persimmon leaf sushi, sesame tofu and even sweets supervised by luxury hotels.

With heartfelt in-car service by dedicated attendants, prepare to kick back for a time away on a train journey to the land of ancient romance, Asuka and the sacred place of Shugendo Yoshino.
