Yuuhiken is a nine-room ryokan guided by its motto, “seasonal flowers and heartfelt hospitality.” With classic Japanese charm and a calm, comfortable atmosphere, it’s an inviting place to unwind. Solo travelers are welcome, and there’s also a one-night stay with two meals plan for a little treat—ideal for a spontaneous change of pace. Families can use a private family bath at their convenience, and yukata rentals are available for children only, making it a great way to add a special memory to your trip.

For both breakfast and dinner, the inn uses local ingredients whenever possible, carefully preparing dishes by hand with meat and seafood from Tajima’s satoyama countryside and the bountiful Sea of Japan. That gentle attention comes through in every bite, enriching any journey to Tajima.

Nearby, you’ll find sights like Takeda Castle Ruins, Ikuno Silver Mine, Fuji Park, and Yodel Forest. On select days, the inn also offers rides to Ritsuun Gorge, a prefectural nature park on the slope of Mt. Asago where you can look out across the Maruyama River toward Takeda Castle Ruins. Feel free to ask—spots are limited to the first six guests.
