Situated in the popular tourist area of Arashiyama in Kyoto, this Japanese hot spring inn boasts 105 rooms categorized into three types: "Kyomachiya," "Kyoto Japanese style," and "Kyomodern," with ten different layouts in total. Depending on the number of guests and the occasion, you can choose from accommodations suitable for one to four people. From the furnishings and bedding to the tea and incense, every detail has been meticulously crafted to embody the essence of Kyoto, allowing guests to relax in a traditional Japanese atmosphere.

The indoor bath at the large communal bath area offers the therapeutic waters of the natural Arashiyama hot spring, known to alleviate neuralgia and muscle pain. The spring water is a weak alkaline simple spring, reputed for leaving the skin moist and supple after bathing. Uniquely in Kyoto, the inn also features five private bathhouses, each with a different character, perfect for couples or families to enjoy a leisurely soak.

The dining area, with its private rooms, offers the seasonal kaiseki course "Shikisai Zen," based on the concept of one soup and five sides, along with an order buffet featuring a selection of "obanzai" (Kyoto-style home cooking) and freshly fried tempura. The traditional Japanese breakfast, featuring a variety of obanzai, is also a highlight.
