Located on a hill in Fukushima, Matsura City, Nagasaki Prefecture, connected by the Ohashi Bridge. From the observation deck, you can overlook the islands floating in the Imari Bay, the blue sea, and in spring, the cherry blossoms in full bloom spread out below. Particularly beautiful during cherry blossom season, the park attracts many tourists from outside the prefecture.

There are approximately 500 cherry trees planted in the park, including Somei Yoshino and Yamazakura varieties. The contrast between the full bloom of cherry blossoms and the blue sea is exceptionally beautiful. Nighttime illumination is also held during the flowering season, offering the enchanting sight of cherry blossoms at night. Additionally, around 40 October cherry trees bloom in October, allowing visitors to enjoy cherry blossoms twice a year.

The area is designated as part of the Genkai National Park and features not only the observation deck but also an outdoor stage and a monument dedicated to the literary scholar Inoue Enryo, who composed poems about the scenery of Fukushima at the time. With walking paths also available, it's recommended to leisurely stroll while enjoying the various plants and scenery throughout the seasons.
