Just a 5-minute drive north of JR “Yamanashishi” Station, this lodging is set amid peaceful countryside views.
A 100+ year-old kominka has been thoughtfully renovated and now welcomes guests as a private lodging. Beyond the rooms, you can also use the garden, terrace, and shared lounge. There’s even a kura bar where guests and locals can connect, along with a rich collection of art. A nice bonus is that pets are welcome, too.
All rooms include free Wi-Fi and access to shared bathrooms with showers and hair dryers. Some rooms offer views of a nearby river. The river in front is also home to fireflies, and around early June you may even drift off while watching their glow.
Each room also comes with air conditioning for a comfortable stay. In colder seasons, heaters are provided so you can stay warm. Desks are available as well, making it a great option for a workation.
Breakfast-included plans are available. Enjoy a filling American-style breakfast during your stay.
On the first floor of the main house, you’ll find a stylish cafe and general store, open Saturdays and Sundays only. With lunch and cafe menus that differ from breakfast, it adds even more to enjoy during your stay.
