Manabe Garden is a captivating 5,000-tsubo (approx. 8,300 square meters) strolling garden that feels like stepping into a fairy tale. Operated by Manabe Nursery, which specializes in importing, cultivating, and selling trees, the garden has been open to the public since 1966. With a mosaic of thousands of tree species gathered from across the globe, it also serves as a living showroom, where visitors can delve into the intricate growth processes of these verdant wonders.

The garden is divided into three enchanting themes: the "Japanese Garden," "European Garden," and "Landscape Garden." As you embark on your journey through these reimagined spaces, you are greeted by a kaleidoscopic tapestry of ever-changing views, where the paths beckon you forward. Along the way, you might spot an Ezo squirrel or a variety of wild birds, adding to the enigmatic beauty of the place. From June to July, the garden transcends into a blooming crucible of water lilies, wild roses, and Hokkaido hydrangeas, orchestrating a fairytale-like atmosphere that is perfect for capturing in photographs.

After your stroll, relax at the garden center, where you can purchase rare horticultural species, or enjoy a leisurely tea time at the café terrace, making it the perfect way to unwind.
