Once the farmland for Abashiri Prison, this area was transformed into a tourist farm in 2006. Spanning 80 hectares, the land is now used to grow crops like corn, asparagus, and tomatoes, and visitors can enjoy harvest experiences.

The highlight is the stunning sunflower fields that bloom from summer to autumn. Around 750,000 sunflowers reach their first peak from early to mid-July. The second peak, even more impressive, occurs from late September to early October, when about 2.6 million sunflowers blossom, painting the landscape a brilliant yellow.

By the time the second bloom arrives, the pleasant autumn breeze makes it the perfect season for a relaxing stroll through the sunflower fields. During this time, the cosmos flowers are also in full bloom, allowing visitors to enjoy two beautiful flower fields at once.

A leisurely walk surrounded by vibrant blooms offers a truly peaceful experience.
