With a desire to cherish its home of Hokkaido, the relaxing spaces use Hokkaido-made building materials such as Sapporo soft stone and birch. The dining also incorporates plenty of fresh local ingredients.

Guest rooms with a scenic-view bath where you can soak while taking in Jozankei’s spectacular seasonal scenery, as well as rooms with a scenic-view sauna featuring HARVIA heaters, are popular. The large public bath, where you can enjoy the Jozankei Onsen waters that warm you to the core in an open-air bath and four distinctive indoor baths, also includes a sauna room. The Finnish-style sauna, where steam makes it easy to sweat even at lower temperatures, is gentle on the body and recommended even for sauna beginners.

For dinner, in addition to a buffet restaurant where you can enjoy around 80 Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes—including made-to-order beef steak, stone-oven pizza, and nigiri sushi served fresh from the live kitchen—there is also a dining venue available only to guests staying in special rooms with a scenic-view sauna and guest rooms with a scenic-view hot spring bath. In June 2024, Shirakaba Roastery opened, where you can sample the original blend coffee and buy beans, making for an even more fulfilling hotel stay.
