Since its opening in 1978, the Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art has been affectionately known as “The Museum of Millet.”
The museum boasts a collection of 70 works by Jean-François Millet, including iconic masterpieces such as The Sower and Gleaners in Summer, offering visitors the rare opportunity to view his art up close.
In addition to Millet, the museum houses an extensive collection of approximately 10,000 works.
