Minoh Visitor Center

This free visitor facility is located in Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park, an area rich in nature and ecosystems despite being close to a major city. Inside, the exhibition room clearly introduces the park’s attractions and distinctive features through explanatory videos, taxidermy displays, and more, showcasing Approx. 1,100 species of plants, over 3,000 species of insects, as well as many wild birds and animals.

There is also Masanochaya Enchi Momiji Hiroba, where you can spread out a packed lunch and enjoy a picnic while spending relaxing time surrounded by nature. At the Masanochaya Enchi Momiji Hiroba Cooking Building, BBQs are also available on weekends and holidays with advance reservation.

The center also hosts a variety of nature experience events throughout the year, including nature craft workshops and nature observation tours. Many events are suitable for parents and children, making them popular with families. It also serves as a base for hiking courses in Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park, where various walking trails are maintained. Guides and information for safe use are also provided as needed.
