A brewery located in Hokkaido, the birthplace of Sapporo Beer. Using water sourced from Mt. Eniwa, it produces beer for distribution within Hokkaido, including the Hokkaido-exclusive Sapporo Classic as well as Black Label and Yebisu.

First introduced in 1985 and loved by the people of Hokkaido ever since, Sapporo Classic marks its 40th anniversary in 2025. Made with some Hokkaido-grown barley and hops, this carefully crafted beer was created to pair with the flavors of Hokkaido. The factory offers tours where you can experience the appeal of Sapporo Classic. With a full program that includes observing the brewing process in the kettles, large-screen footage of barley and hop harvesting scenes, and displays of past Classic editions, the tour is sure to deepen your interest in Sapporo Classic. After the tour, you can also enjoy a tasting of Sapporo Classic in the tasting salon overlooking the garden.

The factory also features a restaurant where you can enjoy draft beer with jingisukan and other flavors of northern Japan, as well as a shop stocked with rare original goods. Tours can be reserved online or by phone from 4 weeks before your desired date.
