Yunohana Tsukiya
A hot spring ryokan in Yunohana Onsen known for its highly praised hospitality.
A hot spring ryokan that opened in July 2021 in Yunohana Onsen, known as Kyoto’s inner retreat. At check-in, the staff ask about each guest’s preferences and provide attentive hospitality tailored to their needs.
Yunohana Onsen is a historic hot spring area said to have healed the sword wounds of injured warlords during the Sengoku period. Its natural radium hot springs are believed to help boost immunity and the body’s natural healing ability, and to aid recovery from fatigue. The water is also gentle on the skin and is said to offer beauty benefits. Another plus is the large public bath with an open-air bath overlooking a small garden, as well as a private panoramic bath that guests can use free of charge.
There are five types of guest rooms. Ranging from standard rooms to special rooms with private open-air baths, all feature refined design and calming interiors for a relaxing stay.
Dinner features seasonal and local ingredients in dishes such as Kyoto beef sawani nabe and sashimi. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a gentle Japanese set meal filled with Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes.
