I heard this is one of the oldest arch bridges in Japan. If you're a history buff, you definitely have to check it out.

  • Some of the old houses have been turned into cafes or shops, which gives the area a great vibe. The cafes have a nice atmosphere, and the desserts are really unique.

  • The old town preserves many Edo period buildings. The wooden shops and narrow stone-paved streets make you feel like you've traveled back in time.

It's a great spot for couples to go on a date and spend some romantic time together.

  • The room was clean and spacious. It's close to Waseda University, so the area is pretty quiet and academic.

  • Both sides of the river are lined with cherry blossoms, forming a tunnel. Even the water reflects the full bloom of the cherry trees.

  • Buses can drive right into the ferry, making it an essential way to get to Sado Island from Niigata. In winter, the weather can get pretty rough, and the waves are so strong it's hard to stand sometimes.

  • One of the best spots for cherry blossom viewing. Absolutely beautiful.

  • There are three buildings in total, so it's best to plan your route ahead of time. That way, you won't have to run back and forth, and the restrooms are easy to find too.

  • The view from the top of the tower is really beautiful. It makes me want to visit again.
