  • It mainly introduces the history of Kumejima Tsumugi and how it’s made. You can see the actual fabric, plus dyeing and weaving demonstrations.
The quality is seriously impressive—you can tell right away this is a labor-intensive traditional craft.
The space isn’t big, but the exhibits are well put together. It’s not the kind of place where you just breeze through.

  • Morioka Tsunagi Onsen is super peaceful, and the hot springs are silky smooth and comfortable. It really feels like a hidden gem. So relaxing to soak in the onsen while looking at the mountains—perfect for a chill getaway!

  • The moment you step into the valley, you're surrounded by greenery. The air is super fresh and it just feels so relaxing~

The ticket price is reasonable. The view from the top of the castle keep is beautiful, and the building itself looks great! There's also a historical exhibition inside.

When you see the steam rising, you know you've reached the hot springs! The monkeys soaking in the hot springs look super cute.
