The view is awesome—you can see Sakurajima way off in the distance. When the weather’s good, the scenery is a huge bonus, and it’s perfect for photos.
The park is pretty big and has some ups and downs, so doing a full loop basically counts as a workout. If you come in summer, you’ll definitely break a sweat.

In winter, a lot of the steps are covered in ice. It's really hard and dangerous to walk without crampons!
