  • They sell everything from local souvenirs to cosmetics—it's basically a mini department store. You can pick up all the famous Morioka noodle gift sets here in one go.

    The Ferris wheel is huge! On a clear day, you can see all the way to Tokyo and even Mt. Fuji!

    Consider getting a VIP entry ticket so you can get in early and try the rides before the crowds. It really saves a lot of time waiting in line.

    There are so many food options here, from quick bites to refined Japanese cuisine. You can especially find a variety of local specialty bento boxes—perfect to take on the train and enjoy as part of your trip.

  • I've been here many times, always taking photos with the big lantern and the giant straw sandals. It's always super crowded, so it's hard to get a good shot.

    The tickets for the 350m and 450m observation decks are different prices, and the prices also change between weekdays and weekends.

  • Clean and peaceful. There are quite a few steps, but the scenery is beautiful, and you can see the Nachi Waterfall too.

  • It doesn't take long to walk up the steps. The air is fresh, and it's a very quiet place.
