  • The prices here are much better compared to department stores in Fukuoka city. It's a great place to add to your Fukuoka or Saga itinerary.

    You can even hear the familiar Banyan Tree song on the little train. Turns out, it's actually a staff member in costume and a mask! 🤭

    Standing at Senkoji Temple, you get a fantastic panoramic view of Onomichi City.

  • I rode the Moomin-themed train.

    The gassho-zukuri roofs are really steep, mainly to keep snow from piling up. The whole structure is made of wood without a single nail, and the thatched roof keeps it warm in winter.

    If you're in Shinjuku, you definitely have to check this place out.

    There are tons of mosquitoes here, so long sleeves and pants are a must. It's best to bring some insect repellent with you.

    Right next to Hakone Shrine is Kuzuryu Shrine. It's said that if you wash your hands and rinse your mouth with the water from the dragon god's fountain, it will wash away your bad luck.

  • It was my first time seeing how wasabi is grown, and the method is really unique. The scenery around the farm is beautiful. You can also try wasabi ice cream here.

    For just over JPY 1,000, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink from over a hundred kinds of red and white wine.
