After shopping at Ameyoko, I stopped by here to fill up.

  • It's mostly about the gimmick rather than the actual food. The prices are pretty high, and honestly, the ingredients aren't that tasty.

  • There are lots of Japanese elm trees planted nearby, and the shops are beautifully decorated with a trendy, artsy vibe. There are also several great restaurants. It's a nice place to stroll after visiting the church.

  • The pork cutlet is marinated in miso, then coated in breadcrumbs and fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The flavor is amazing, way better than your average chain tonkatsu place.
