There are a lot of people here and the vibe is super lively, like a big city that never sleeps.
It’s more relaxed to walk around during the day.
At night all the flashing lights make the atmosphere really cool.

  • Perfect for anyone who wants to relax or go skiing! 🏔️ The hotel is right next to the ski area, so you can be on the slopes in just a few steps—super convenient.

The room was pretty spacious, clean, and comfortable, with that classic, established Japanese hotel vibe. The large public bath was also excellent, with both indoor and outdoor hot springs. Soaking after skiing felt amazing〜

Breakfast and dinner are buffet-style, with lots of options and everything was tasty (the Niigata rice in particular is so fragrant). Eating while looking out at the snowy view really gives you that full resort feeling. The staff were all very friendly and quick to help, too.

If I had to mention a downside, the hotel feels a bit dated and the price is on the higher side. But overall it was absolutely worth it—especially in winter for skiing or the hot springs. ⛄💦

  • Absolutely awesome! The meat was super tender and juicy—you can tell right away it's top-quality Wagyu. The staff were really attentive and explained the best ways to enjoy each cut. They grilled everything to the perfect doneness. The side dishes were great too—rice, kimchi, and soup all went really well with the meal. Overall, I left feeling totally satisfied. The price is a bit on the higher side, but for this quality, it's totally worth it. Perfect spot to treat yourself or for a date!

  • The street is clean and has a European vibe—feels like strolling through a small town in Europe. There are lots of unique Japanese brands and specialty shops, like leather goods, accessories, and stylish cafés. It's never too crowded, so the atmosphere is really relaxed. Perfect for a slow stroll, sipping coffee, and soaking up Yokohama's elegance.

  • The most precious exhibit here is the quiet emptiness left in your heart after you leave. It's a silent, complete sense of fulfillment.

  • This is one of the must-try spots in Otsu, especially for their chicken set meals. The chicken is really fresh and tasty. Just make sure to book ahead, because it gets super crowded!

  • When the glaciers melt in spring, the water volume increases and the waterfall becomes even more majestic.

  • I didn't really have any feelings about sumo before, but watching it up close was a totally different experience. The physical contact, the sounds, and getting to enjoy traditional sumo hot pot—it was a feast for the eyes, ears, and taste buds all at once!
