It's really worth spending 2-3 days here! There are plenty of spots to check out on both the east and west sides of Lake Kinrin. Staying at your favorite hot spring inn and soaking in the onsen will make you miss this trip for sure!

The sand bath here is such a rare experience! You can listen to the sound of the waves while sweating it out. I almost fell asleep during the process, and afterwards my whole body just felt so relaxed and lazy!

This place is deep in the mountains, so getting here isn't very convenient. If you want to visit Yabakei, I recommend taking a sightseeing bus, but it only runs on Sundays or holidays. During the autumn leaves season, though, it runs every day!

This place is absolutely beautiful, but it's huge! For seniors and kids, walking too much might be a bit tough. You can pay to ride the park shuttle, but honestly, if you're with family, the cost isn't exactly cheap!

I stopped by while I was in Harajuku, but the timing and season didn't work out, so I missed the beautiful ginkgo trees.

If you only have time to visit one temple, Sensoji is definitely the one to go to.

The place is really spacious and the food court has so many shops—it's a lot of fun to explore! 🐧
