    The inside is such a mess. The shelves don’t feel organized at all, so finding anything takes forever.
    Going at night is even worse—tons of tourists plus locals, and it’s super loud.

    This shrine feels really rich with history. It has a solemn vibe, but it doesn’t feel heavy or oppressive.

  • After seeing teamLab’s light and projection style so many times, it really doesn’t feel that fresh anymore.

  • The whole building has a young vibe and a strong artsy feel.
    There’s a café on the ground floor, so it’s really nice to sit down and relax when you get tired of walking around.

  • Inside, there's an exhibition hall, an observation deck, and a garden. You can see all the islands in Matsushima Bay. On a nice day, the blue sky, white clouds, and green islands are so relaxing. The rooftop observation deck is perfect for photos, and the sea breeze feels amazing.
