Maybe because I went on a weekday afternoon, the restaurants were almost empty. With all the flashy decor, it actually felt a bit lonely—maybe it was just me.
On the other hand, the movie theater was fantastic! The seats are super spacious and luxurious, really comfortable. The sound system is top-notch, and drinks and popcorn are included. Even though the price is a bit high, it was totally worth it!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building's observation deck is free to enter. You can really enjoy Tokyo's night view from here. I especially recommend going after it rains in winter when the air is clear! Weekday nights are also great. Since people in Tokyo work late, the city stays bright. Shoutout to everyone working hard out there!!

A big shrine suddenly appears in the middle of Shinjuku’s busy streets. The bright red torii gate and main hall really stand out. It's also famous for bringing good luck in the performing arts. So, here's hoping I get more talented! (Leaving it up to fate)

    This cheesecake is absolutely amazing!!
It has two layers—the top is a melt-in-your-mouth rare cheesecake, and the bottom is a rich baked cheesecake. I think letting it thaw for 5 to 8 hours from frozen, just like the instructions said, made it even better. I really enjoyed it!

I watched the dolphin, penguin, and sea lion shows. The show with the giant sea lion was especially fun!
You can really tell they put a lot of thought and creativity into the performances, even with a limited budget. I was really impressed.

I got to see a historic old barn and even caught a sheep show! After walking around the huge farm, the fresh milk and soft serve ice cream tasted absolutely amazing. Such a special treat!

Oirase Stream stays cool even in summer, making it perfect for a refreshing walk in the woods!
There's a path along the river, so I definitely recommend taking a stroll. It's a place you'll want to visit again and again.

This is Japan's most acidic hot spring. You should try it at least once in your life! The minerals are so strong that if you put your face in or rub your skin, it can sting a lot. It's a one-of-a-kind experience you can't get anywhere else! Just a heads-up, your skin might feel tingly, especially your backside, so be careful.

You can take the ropeway most of the way up, so it's an easy hike. No need for serious climbing gear.
The view from the top is stunning, so if the weather's good, definitely give it a try!
After working up a sweat, I recommend stopping by a hot spring on your way back!

There's a fantastic scenic spot just a short walk from the station!
After exploring the clear streams and waterfalls, it's great that you can enjoy local restaurants and souvenir shops around the parking lot.
At Senya, a local eatery, I recommend the yuba set meal and the hearty tempura rice bowl.
