I didn't get a chance to see the Kawagoe Festival in person, but the festival museum has lots of info about its history. There are real festival floats on display and even videos introducing the festival. 😁

It feels like finding a bit of peace and quiet in the middle of the city.
It’s not overly commercialized, so it feels more authentic. -
When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it’s really beautiful.
Compared to cherry blossoms in the city, it feels much more spacious here. -
They combined honey sponge cake and onsen manju into this cute Japanese-Western style treat. It's filled with white bean paste. I tried it, but honestly, it was a bit too sweet for me.
