Yamanashi Prefecture, Walking Through Lake Yamanaka’s Autumn Leaves
I took a walk around Yamanashi Prefecture’s Lake Yamanaka since the season has changed to the lovely autumn.
Lucky for me, the weather was clear and I was able to see Mt. Fuji.

Yuyake no Nagisa Koyo Matsuri
I visited “Yuyake no Nagisa Koyo Matsuri,” an autumn festival held every year.
I visited during the day this time, but apparently at night a 600-meter corridor of autumn leaves is illuminated.
There are promenades and rest benches along the path, so it’s an easy walk.

There are food stalls set up around the information desk, so you can enjoy foods like udon and yakitori there.
I visited on a Sunday, so there were a lot of sightseers.
Everyone was focused on taking their own pictures!
Having a picnic while looking at the autumn leaves seems like fun.
There were even swans in the lake.
The swan-shaped excursion boat looked like fun too.
Taking a Break at a Restaurant!
I took a break at “Chianti CoMo,” an Italian restaurant along the shore of Lake Yamanaka!
The restaurant has an open kitchen, so you can see inside.
Their pasta and pizza look delicious, but this time I ordered sweets.
Tiramisu (500 yen), Ice Cream (420 yen), Panna Cotta (500 yen)
The tiramisu, which is the most popular, was just slightly sweet and oh-so-delicious!
