Aoba

A Friendly Chinese Owner in Tateishi. A Great Value Izakaya Open Until Midnight!

Last update :

This izakaya is located along the main street running south from the arcade shopping street starting at the Keisei Line’s Tateishi Station. Tateishi is an area with no shortage of bars, but while there are many that open during daylight hours then close early, this particular izakaya, “Aoba,” fills a desperately-needed niche in the area by staying open until midnight.

The owner is a Chinese woman with a friendly disposition who has lived in Japan for over 30 years now, and the izakaya is always packed with customers drinking and having a good time.
The menu features around 100 different dishes, including seafood, grilled dishes, and fried dishes, and the bulk of them are very reasonably priced, between 300 and 500 yen. Every dish is delicious and generously portioned, making the value here exceptional.
Ice-cold beer, delicious food, and a bright and homey atmosphere all make for a place you’ll want to enjoy for a good long while.
