The "Festival of the Lights in OSAKA," which beautifully and fantastically illuminates the night of Osaka, is an event that has two core programs: the "Midosuji Illumination" on Midosuji, Osaka's main street, and the "Osaka Hikari-Renaissance" in the Nakanoshima, the symbol of the city’s waterways.
With the theme of "A Symbol Street of Light Connecting to a Shining Future," this year also colors the total length of about 4km from Umeda to Namba with overwhelming light.
In January 2015, Midosuji Illumination was recognized as a world record for "the street with the most illuminations on street trees."
