Nakagawa Yashio Flower Park
Adore flowering peach and canola in spring and cosmos and amaryllis in fall.
There is a park along Naka River in Yashio City. In spring, peach and canola flowers bloom. In fall, amaryllis and cosmos will add their colors. It is a popular spot for flower lovers.
The park has 120 peach trees and The premises turns bright pink in the blooming season. Canola comes in about the same time, and the contrast against yellow canola is beautiful. Take your smartphone or camera and shoot photos while strolling around.
In late March when peaches are in full bloom, Peach Flower Festival is held. Watch flying model aircraft, ride in a Japanese boat, stop by at many booths, there is plenty of entertainment for children, as well. Try “Yashio Hanamomo Cider” with peach blossom extract that received Japan’s souvenir award in 2017.
