Hida Region’s historical precious homes are brought and restored in Hida no Sato. A-framed houses that bore the weight of heavy snow or thatched roof homes, four of which are designated as national important cultural properties, are passing on the nostalgic farm village scenery into the future.

Each house exhibits many valuable mountain farming tools and housewares from the days gone. Demonstrations of straw crafts, embroidery, etc. are changed daily. Stilts, the cup and ball and other children’s plays are available for families.

Various events are also held throughout the year, including traditional events of the Hida region. In autumn and winter, the village is illuminated. It is a must-see to see the fantastic sight of the Gassho Village covered in autumn leaves and snow.

    日式傳統合掌造建築,只是規模和知名度跟白川鄉合掌村完全不是一個檔次,但是這邊遊客少很多,這裡就需要寧靜來做搭配
