Bâton d'or
A luxe, stick-shaped treat crafted by Glico. Comes in a wide lineup of different flavors, starting with the original pretzel made with extra heaps of butter.
Glico, the brand known for Pocky and Pretz also launched a luxurious dessert sweet in 2012. It’s called Bâton d'or, meaning “golden stick” in French. Each rich, buttery pretzel stick is made with a dough that’s packed with refined butter and cooked to perfection, along with an aged, golden butter sugar blend.
There’s a full range of flavors, all starting with the aromatic pretzel base. In the fall and winter there’s a chocolate coated variety that’s especially popular among all of the limited seasonal flavors that are released.
Sales are limited to the Hankyu Umeda Main Store and Takashimaya Osaka Branch, as well as limited locations in Kyoto, Kobe, Fukuoka and more making it a perfect gift and memento to share after your trip.
