A complex tourist facility opened in April 2022 in Miyagawa-cho, one of Kyoto Gokagai. The over 100-year-old Kyomachiya was once an Ochaya. They have now built a coworking space, cafe & bar, product sales space, and a tourist information center are placed together.
The coworking space is perfect for workcations as it is available monthly and drop-in. All spaces are free-address so that you can see people from different areas working side by side.
" Kyoto guide bar" offers Kyoto craft beer, local sake, coffee, other drinks, and Kyoto-style snacks. It is the perfect place to take a break from work. The tourist information center, located in the corner of the bar, is staffed by a well-versed concierge in Kyoto. In addition to providing tourist information, the concierge also offers support for moving to Kyoto.
Many local residents also use the bar and coworking space, so it also serves as a link between tourists and locals. Visitors can enjoy interacting with locals in a tasteful space where a beautiful Tsuboniwa garden (inner garden) still remains.
