This aquarium is located on the premises of composite facilities, Hakone-en.
It is the only aquarium with a large seawater tank and located at the highest above sea level of 723 m in Japan, which is called “an aquarium built in the forest”.

The building has “Seal Plaza”, “the aquarium”, and more, in which you can watch various fish from around the world.
