As one of the most famous film theme parks in Japan, located in Uzumasa, Kyoto, the park is famous for its sets used in the filming of period dramas. You can enjoy the atmosphere of old Japan even more by walking in the park dressed up in historic costumes as a film character.

There are many other attractions in the park such as the Ninja Mystery House, Haunted House, 3D Maze and others. You can also enjoy a special and rare opportunity to board the Entry Plug of the Evangelion, and even stand on its giant palm. There are also special attractions for young children who acting as ninja can go on adventures with the Shimajiro character. Exhibitions of heroes from Japanese special effect films and TOEI’s animation characters are also very popular.

A wide range of shows and events are scheduled. In addition to exciting ninja shows, chambara (sword fight) shows and characters on stage, other special events are held throughout the year in collaboration with many popular games and animations.

While having fun in the park, you can take a break at cafes and restaurants which offer a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese selections with an atmosphere set up like that in period drama films.
