This is a regular Kamigata Rakugo theater that opened in 2006 in the precincts of Osaka Tenmangu Shrine with donations from the public.

Lanterns line the ceiling inside the theater as well as the outside walls. Performances are held every day, with daytime performances changing weekly and nightly performances changing daily. In addition to a wide variety of rakugo performers, both new faces and veterans, there are also other entertainments such as magic acts and manzai. The evening performances also include solo shows and Ichimonkai (family group shows).

Currently, the daytime performances are also streamed online, allowing people to enjoy rakugo performances at home or wherever they like.
A "Kamigata Rakugo Experience Program" is also available on weekday mornings for groups of 100 or more people. Visitors can learn more about Rakugo through Rakugo commentary and demonstrations.

The nearby Osaka Tenmangu Shrine and Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Arcade, Japan's longest shopping street, are also worth a visit before or after a Yose performance.
