One of the largest aquariums alongside the Sea of Japan. A larger-than-life dolphin show takes place at the dolphin stadium 4 times a day (5 times on Sundays and during Holidays). The trainers will educate viewers about the body structure and ecology of Dolphins by showing them their fun and cute moves.
Make sure to visit the “Sea of Japan Large Aquarium”. Inside the marine tunnel, visitors can see fishes living in the Sea of Japan up close, as if they are walking undersea. Visit the Shinanogawa River zone, which is a river connected to the Sea of Japan. Visitors can see organisms that adapted to varying environments alongside the stream.
One of the most popular fishes in the Sea of Japan is the Nodoguro (Blackthroat seaperch). This aquarium is the first to artificially breed the species. A hidden popular menu item is the “Nodoguro Hot Dog” sold by vendors.
