One of the largest ski resorts in Japan, Naeba is known for its dry, high-quality snow. Its wide variety of courses, which have also hosted World Cup races, can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. The 4 km downhill course is truly spectacular.

Adjacent to the resort is the Naeba Prince Hotel, which has about 1,200 guest rooms. Every winter, concerts by Yumi Matsutoya, known as Yuming, are held here—a seasonal highlight.

Although it is strongly associated with winter, Naeba is actually a year-round destination. In summer, it hosts the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, one of Japan’s largest outdoor music events, usually held from late July to early August. More than 200 musicians from Japan and overseas perform each year. In autumn, Naeba is renowned for its brilliant foliage. The Dragondola, Japan’s longest gondola (5,481 meters), offers breathtaking views of the autumn mountainsides.
