Unzen Kanko Hotel is located about one hour and 20 minutes by car from Nagasaki City. It was established in 1935 as a resort hotel in the Unzen hot spring town set in the first national park.
The hotel was open for foreign tourists and built with a grand Swiss chalet style. This hotel, imaged as a cruise ship, is chosen as one of the best modern Japanese architectural structures, and was registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan in 2003. The hotel is highly regarded for its aesthetics and uniqueness.
The hotel’s 39 guestrooms are elegant and comfortable. There is also a sophisticated bar, a library, pool table, and a dining room with a space over 350m2.The entire hotel is picturesque.
