Nusamai Bridge is about 124.0 m long crossing the mouth of the Kushiro river at central Kushiro city. The bridge connects Kita Odori and Omachi in Kushiro city. The place is widely known as one of the world's three best sunsets and the scenery is spectacular when the whole sky is dyed in the sunset.

The bridge was selected as one of the 100 best bridges in Japan, the statues depicting four seasons as they are placed at the parapet. The statues of spring, summer, autumn, and winter were created by Yasutake Funakoshi, Cyuryo Sato, Yoshitatsu Yanagihara, and Shin Hongo, respectively.
