Michi-no-Eki Doshi

Located in the center of Doshi City in Yamanashi Prefecture, Michi-no-Eki (roadside rest area) Doshi hosts information about sightseeing spots, events, and local goods for Doshi City. It also has over 100 free parking spots and restrooms available for use, so many people stop by during their drives.

Doshi-michi, the National Route 413 highway just out front of the roadstop, was the cycling route used for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
It’s the perfect spot to stop and recharge for bikers and cyclists along the way.

Michi-no-eki Doshi hosts events throughout the year, making it popular with families as well. (Events include grilled fish eating competitions and mochi-pounding competitions.)

In addition, directly behind the rest area is the Doshi River. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful countryside view, or even take a swim in the river during the summer!

At the restaurant located inside Michi-no-Eki Doshi, guests can enjoy dishes featuring local ingredients at an affordable price, such as udon noodles made with local watercress or pork curry with locally-sourced pork. For visitors who wish to enjoy something lighter with tea, we recommend trying something like the potato pie or soft-serve ice cream!
The shops inside have local goods available, such as vegetables and tofu, so many people stop by to purchase Yamanashi’s local snacks and goods as souvenirs!
