Karuizawa Photo Studio

This photo studio is located on Old Karuizawa Ginza Street, one of the main tourist spots. Visitors can take retro sepia-style commemorative photos in costumes reminiscent of aristocrats.

The store always has 50 to 60 gorgeous western dresses, reminiscent of noblewomen's or opera costumes, purchased directly by the owner, and you can choose the one you like best. Not only women's dresses but also men's costumes are available, so you can have family photos taken. It is also nice to be able to have your pets photographed with you. An added attraction is that you can have your photo taken outdoors, which is typical of Karuizawa, with the sun shining through the trees when the weather is nice.

Also, many commemorative photos taken so far are displayed outside the store, and just looking at them during your stroll will put you in a pleasant mood.
It is best to make a reservation before going, but if there is space available, they can accommodate you on the same day, so if you are interested, ask the owner.
