Zao Hot spring, Japan’s oldest water with a history of over 1900 years since establishment. Going through a tasteful gate and go steps down, an open-air spa built with accumulated natural stones along a mountain stream appears. A bathtub is so huge that 200 people use as the same time while enjoying the sound of a river and birds’ singing filled with an open atmosphere. A bathing is relaxingly enjoyed with viewing fresh-greenery in Summer and foliage in Autumn. There are two open-air bathtubs in each upper and lower floor with which favorite water temperatures are available.
