SEA SPICA (Setouchi Shimatabi Line)

A sightseeing high-speed cruiser that allows passengers to enjoy the beauty of the many islands of the Seto Inland Sea and island touring.

Last update :

This is a sightseeing high-speed cruiser that makes a round-trip from Hiroshima Port to Mihara Port, allowing passengers to enjoy a tour of the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. The Setouchi Shimatabi Line, a regular service, also stops at Kure Port, where passengers can embark and disembark.

The eastward course departing from Hiroshima Port will take passengers to Shimo-Kamagari Island and Okunoshima Island, while the westward course departing from Mihara Port will take them to Okunoshima Island and Osaki-Shimojima Island. Visit several cultural facilities including "Shoto Garden" on Shimo-Kamagarii Island, and Okunoshima, famous as Rabbit Island, and the Mitarai district on Osaki-Shimojima Island, where you can enjoy the old-fashioned townscape.

Custom-made sofa-type seats have been installed on the first floor of the ship. Each seat is equipped with a table and drink holder, and the window seats are tilted slightly outward for a better view of the scenery.
Spica Terrace on the second floor is furnished with sofa seats and counter tables that evoke the islands of Setouchi. Visitors can fully enjoy the view of the Seto Inland Sea while feeling the sea breeze.
