"Uwasekigata Park", spread out at the foot of Kadota Mountain, is a place where visitors can spend a relaxing time in nature, with a lagoon inhabited by wild birds in the vast site. While the park is conveniently located only 10 minutes by car from downtown Maki and a bus ride from Niigata Station, the approximately 263,000 m2 site allows visitors to enjoy the great outdoors at their leisure.

The park has a 2-hectare field of rape blossoms and about 450 cherry trees, and in spring, visitors can see both the rape blossoms all over the field and the cherry trees in full bloom at the same time. With the bright yellow and pink colors spreading everywhere, you will surely be able to take pictures that will look great on social networking sites. In summer, visitors can enjoy the coolness of the waterfront with its luminous greenery, and in autumn, they can enjoy "straw art," an artwork made of cosmos and rice straw. This is a park where you can enjoy vivid and spectacular scenery throughout the four seasons.

You can take a leisurely hike or picnic while walking along the 2-kilometer promenade, enjoy the warmth of the trees at the log cabin rest area and barbecue plaza, or play actively and physically on the roller slide, Tarzan rope, and many other playground equipment. There are endless ways to have fun.
